So here's what happened: Valentines day is coming up and Kyoko decides to make chocolates for everyone. Well, except Ren, but that's only because she thinks he won't like him (and she's giving him his late birthday present that day). Anyway, turns out that the lead singer from the band Kyoko calls "Beagle" captured one of her hatred spirits and has been holding it hostage. In order to get her spirit back, she was forced to make him chocolates.
Knowing Kyoko, she made a "go to hell beagle, I hate you" chocolate. Now, when Ren saw the dropped "Hatred" chocolate, he assumed that she made them for Shou, and obviously got pissed off.
Bbbuutt (this is when it gets confusing) Kyoko continues to drop the chocolates until the design begins to look like a "I Beagle Heart". Which is just the perfect moment for Shou to come in and find those, right? Well it's also a brilliant time for the Beagles to walk in too!
So now we have Shou, Kyoko, and the Beagles all in one room. After a huge misunderstanding, somehow believes that Kyoko and Reino (lead singer of Beagles) are dating. So now Shou's jealous!
*Summary*: Ren believes that Kyoko made chocolates for Shou, but she really made it for Reino. And Shou believes that Reino and Kyoko are dating (hence, him taking the biggest part of Kyoko's heart that he used to fill), and due to Kyoko's idiocy, Ren's feeling down because he didn't receive chocolates from her.
So here's chapter 145: Shou's manager convinces him that he needs to do something in order to win Kyoko back, so he gets her an expensive bouquet with all the pretty things Kyoko likes. However, he passes it off as a congratulations for her new relationship. That's when Kyoko makes a face similar to:
And goes into a long explanation clearing everything up. So now Shou is happy, Kyoko is happy, and most importantly, Ren is happy. But somewhere in her private conversation with Shou, he brings up chocolates and Ren. When he finds out she didn't give him chocolates, but something more (and when he sees that adorable face she puts on while talking about it) he does something crazy...he KISSES her!
