So I heard that a flock of ravens somewhere won a... super bowl or something like that.
... Congratulations to them? I hope that they enjoy all of the chili and cereal they can with their new bowl.
Pic related (I guess, I still don't really know...) ((Am I doing it right?)) |
Either way, there are a few things that should be said about this week!
A slight change in order of animes I plan to cover and a project I am starting for all of us.
So let's get this started!
Alright, well the announcement's aren't that big, expansive or whatever. I mainly just felt like saying hi really =3
But aside from that! I do want to say something real quick about upcoming reviews!
... I am actually having a hard time deciding what anime I want to retrospect/review for Friday's post.
A really tough choice between wanting to look at Angel Beats! or Steins;Gate.
But aside from that! I do want to say something real quick about upcoming reviews!
First thing!
... I am actually having a hard time deciding what anime I want to retrospect/review for Friday's post.
A really tough choice between wanting to look at Angel Beats! or Steins;Gate.
Likely Angel Beats at this point because of it's length and watchablility. |
While I did like Steins;Gate a lot more by the very end in comparison, I think I am leaning towards Angel Beats because it is shorter, it is a bit easier to watch for most people and it features a great cast of funny characters with a lot of comic relief.
Both are both pretty well known now in the community because of their general watchability among a broad spectrum of fans so I thought they would be good starting stone before I start really broadening the collection of anime's on this blog. (Muahahahaha)
Second thing!
Aside from that announcement, I believe I have another one concerning the Weekly Reaction segment.
Yes, I am going to continue it but unfortunately I have made the decision to put Mushi-Shi on hiatus for now.
Ginko doesn't seem to mind much. ... I think? |
The first being that the anime, while it is standard length being 26 episodes, doing 1 episode per week stretches 1 anime out over the course of half a freaking year.
And I am sure that by now, the first episode has gotten at least one person to watch 3 or 4 more episodes already.
The second being is that it seems that this blog has a bit of unfinished business with a certain anime and manga...
Yea, that one is Elfen Lied.
Alice let me know about the fact that the anime was dropped part way through here so I think I am going to try to do a rehash of the Elfen Lied reactions by putting them in the Weekly Reaction section until it is complete. It is a relatively short anime and it should be done within 9-10 weeks or even sooner depending how kind my schedule is to me.
When I say "distract you with Elfen Lied", I really mean dangle this picture in front of you on a fishing line to hopefully entertain you all |
SO while you all will be distracted by Elfen Lied for the next few weeks, I will be busy hunting down these OVAs and one-shots so that I don't exhaust my list to quickly.
Looking at this image again actually makes me feel quite heartbroken and sad inside |
It warrant's a full review and will likely come the third or fourth week of posting.
Eighty-third thing!
One for the guys |
The last of these announcements lies within the project...
It is nothing REALLY big or spectacular and it really shouldn't be warranting this much time to make but I plan to make a Facebook page for this blog.
I hope to make it a more "slice of life"y, random, interactive sort of thing between me, Alice (Anime/Manga Addict) and maybe a few other fun people I think will be fun to invite (don't worry, they will all be great c: ). Oh and you guys of course :P
One for the girls |
Of course there will be a lot of fun things in between of course! Q&A's for the admins, polls, all the Pokemon you can possibly handle (you may have seen Alice in action but you haven't even begun to see my pokemon fandom... oh god, prepare your bodies), original content, you know Facebook page stuff
and maybe even... ADMIN CHALLENGES!! OoO (gotta talk about that with Alice and the others first but you know)
Part of the goal is to help spread the blog's name around a little bit, make us admins look entertaining and stuff (huehuehue) but the goal here really is just to create an interaction space where we can express ourselves even further as Anime/Manga Addicts and for you guys to have another space to comment and post (with relatively more ease because a lot of people have freaking Facebook) and interact as Anime/Manga Addicts yourselves!
Personally, I am really liking this little blogging past time and so I want to put the extra effort in to make this an even cooler thing by interacting with the audience that we are posting too. Because, we are all freaking nerds, we all are cool and we will all get along great together!
Bringing all sorts of things to the table and well... having a bit of fun with it all. I know I do have some fun on the few Facebook pages I am subscribed too.
Expect updates about the Facebook page from time to time and I will tell you when it is completed either this, next or the following weekend. One of those for sure xD
Congratulations for enduring through the post! Have some loss-of-faith-in-humanity as a reward! :D |
So with that, the announcements are concluded. Thank you for reading and have a nice night!
Wish me luck with Theology work! (A required class for a pre-med degree. wat?)
G'night from my timezone everybody!
