Sylveon: Ninfia's English Name and Gameplay Footage

Hello there fellow Pokemon lovers! I know all of you are extremely excited about the newest edition to the Eevee family. Well we haven't learned much since my first post, but the Pokemon Company has just announced the new, English, name!

This new Pokemon goes by the name of Ninfia in Japan, and following the usual -eon suffix, goes by Sylveon in English. 

Still no news about this pokemon's type or method of evolution has been announced. However, it has been established that the bows and ribbons on its body are attached to it. Meaning that it has somehow adapted to an environment or stone that would bring on vestigial ribbons and bows. 

Some people think it's a fighting type, others flying, some bug. Even a new "light" type seems to be an option.

To be honest, it all seems a little crazy to me.

Pokemon X & Y: New Eeveelution! Ninfia!

Normal, water, fire, electric, psychic, dark, ice, grass, and now....Ninfia?

Joining the previous 7 eeveelutions (8 if you count Eevee) is the newest addition to the Eevee lineage- Ninfia.  This new Pokemon was announced in the recent edition of Japan's CoroCoro Comics. Ninfia, whose name comes from the flower, Ninfea, is a pink version of the typical quadrapedal eeveelution. With it's wispy, ribbon like attachments  and butterfly shaped bows, many speculate that this Pokemon is either bug or flying (as it pays close resemblance to Skyla of Pokemon B&W).

Some believe that it's even part of the a new, 18th, type of Pokemon. There are rumors of a new "light" type pokemon that would be effective against "dark" type pokemon. Others have heard rumors of a "digital"type.

This is all the news we have on Ninfia so far. It's english name, type, ability, and type of evolution has yet to be announced.

Pokemon X&Y Starter Types

So it's just been confirmed, Fennekin is a fire/psychic, Froakie is a water/fighting, and Chespin is a grass/bug type. What do you guys think about that?

Pokemon X and Y Release Date

So! News! The official release date of Pokemon X and Y is said to be October 1st. The game is specifically for 3DS with legendaries Xerneas and Yveltal.

Pokemon: Generation 6 X and Y: Starters and Legendaries

So how many of you have heard about the new generation of Pokemon? I have to admit, I wasn't the biggest fan of generation 5 (gen 2 is still my favorite) but I'm pretty psyched for this new generation. Regardless of whatever new pokemon they add, the graphics and game play seem far more sophisticated than any other generation.

The new game is made in 3D for the nintendo 3DS. Now I still own the first DS and haven't cared for the DS lite, DS i, etc. , but for this game....there's nothing I won't do to get my hands on it. It's the thing I've always wanted since the nintendo 64 came out: a free roaming pokemon journey with great graphics and screenplay.

As for the starters:

It looks like we have Froakie, the water frog

Fennekin, the fire fox (vulpix much?) 

And Chespin, the grass...ottor? Beaver maybe

I personally like Fennekin the most, but if he turns out to be another fire-fighting, then I'm gonna have to go for Froakie. To be honest, I never choose the grass starters. They have no variety in their move pools, and aren't as tough as fire/water pokemon. This is what I think (hope) will (realistically) happen with their evolutions : water/poison, fire/psychic, and grass/water. Hopefully they'll add some new type mixes into the starter evolutions.

As for the legendaries, we have two absolutely beautiful pokemon fitted for the X and Y series:

We haven't received news on the types, backgrounds, or story-lines behind these two pokemon. But I must say, they look magnificent.

I love Pokemon...and I mean absolutely LOVE it. I'm a total pokefreak! But what I love almost as much as Pokemon, are other Pokemon lovers making fan videos about it. Especially Smosh, cuz they're awesome! I think this made me laugh more than it was supposed to. I mean, it's just perfect! Exactly like the video game, lol. I don't know about you guys, but when I dream about becoming a Pokemon master, it looks quite different than this :P

Pikachu's Love

You know, I feel like people have forgotten Pikachu's true love...Ketchup!! Does no one else remember the episode of that ghost town? I think it was called "Showdown at Dark City" or Ghost city or something. But when his ketchup bottle got slashed! Hahaha pikachu's face was so sad :(! That was their first encounter. Kawaii!!!

Favorite Pokemon Ships (short for relationships)

Ash Ketchum was my first crush. I mean, what six year old little girl wouldn't fall in love him and Pikachu? Pokemon has been in my heart since I was a little kid, but only now have I realized the love written between the lines of this story. However, the sad reality of it all is that the pairings we desperately want to see, will never happen. But who says a girl can't dream? Here's my list of favorite Pokemon couples:
1. PokeShipping (AshxMisty): It's the first Ash ship ever. I find these two to be perfectally suited for each other. Though they fight, we all know that they deeply care for each other. Misty is my favorite pokegirl, and her strong personality matches Ash's stubbornness.

ContestShipping (DrewxMay): I'm not as into this ship as pokeshipping, but it does kinda remind me of Special A. They are constantly competing against each other, and that competition created a bond that no one else had with her. They went through losses and wins together, supporting each other, and that strengthened their relationship.

IkariShipping (PaulxDawn): I have no reason or proof why this ship would work. I just think that those two look really cute together. And who knows? Maybe Dawn's carefree attitude will loosen Paul up a bit.

Controversially Awesome 493 Pokegirls

Usually, when I see anything Pokemon-related pornographic image/racy content made by fans or perverts, I immediately look away, scarred by the image. However, this...whatever you call it (fan art?) was pretty cool, in my opinion. The girls range from cute, silly, badass, and then down right slutty. I'm not sure who drew these, but the person took pokemon, and turned them into anime girls. And yes, some of them are racy and somewhat perverted, but I think it was very creative. In a woman's opinion, some of these were done tastefully, while others were just fanservice,but all of them really depicted the Pokemon. Frankly, the person's a pervert...But a perverted genius.
