So, I've had this recent intrest with anime movies. They feature far more symbolism, morals, themes, and direction than most anime series. But who could mention anime movies without mentioning Hayao Miyazaki? The director of 4 star animes (in Japan
and America) like
Spirited Away or
Howl's Moving Castle, this man is the creme-de-la-creme of the animation arts.
While getting my usual fix of anime related web pages, I ran into an article titled "Reimagined Miyazaki Films" on
buzzfeed.com. It showed the work of
Jonas Akerlund and his interpretations of Miyazaki's work. Here's a sample of his beautiful work:

Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away
two of my favorite movies |
Now, unfortunately, he didn't do any
Princess Mononoko interpretations, so here's one to make up for it.
